Description
We’re looking for an experienced developer to remediate our existing website to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards. The work includes reviewing current accessibility issues, implementing fixes, and ensuring the site is usable for people with disabilities. You should be comfortable working with an existing site, identifying accessibility gaps, and making practical improvements that support a better user experience for all visitors. Scope -Audit the website for accessibility issues -Fix WCAG A/AA issues in the code/design -Improve keyboard and screen-reader accessibility -Fix headings, forms, ARIA, contrast, focus states, alt text, etc. -Test using tools such as axe, WAVE, Lighthouse and manual testing -Provide a brief before/after report of fixes Important: We need actual code-level remediation, not an accessibility widget/plugin. Please share examples of previous WCAG remediation projects, your relevant experience, and the tools/screen readers you use.
