Summary IMPORTANT: Please only apply if you have prior hands-on experience building a Reserve with Google / Google Actions Center integration, or a very similar booking marketplace integration. We are specifically looking for someone who has already worked on this type of integration and understands the technical and approval requirements involved. We are looking for an experienced developer to help integrate our booking/reservation platform with Reserve with Google, allowing customers to book appointments directly from a business’s Google Search and Google Maps listing. Our platform already handles the booking/reservation workflow. The goal of this project is to build the technical integration required for Google to display the “Book” / “Reserve” button for eligible businesses using our platform and ensure bookings made through Google are properly synchronized with our system. Scope of Work The developer will be responsible for: Reviewing our existing booking platform, APIs, availability system, and data structure. Determining the technical requirements for integrating with Google’s Reserve with Google / booking ecosystem. Advising us on any Google approval, partner, or onboarding requirements that must be completed. Building the required integration between our platform and Google. Creating any required merchant, service, availability, and booking feeds or API integrations. Mapping our businesses, locations, services, staff/resources, pricing, and availability into the format required by Google. Supporting real-time or near-real-time availability synchronization. Receiving bookings originating from Google and creating them correctly within our platform. Handling booking confirmations, cancellations, and modifications where supported. Preventing double bookings and handling availability conflicts. Implementing required authentication, security, logging, and error handling. Testing the complete booking flow from Google Search/Maps through our platform. Assisting with Google's validation, testing, certification, or launch process as required. Providing documentation so our internal development team can maintain the integration after launch. Required Experience You should have previously built or worked directly on a Reserve with Google, Google Actions Center, or comparable booking marketplace integration. Experience simply working with Google APIs is not enough. We are looking for someone who understands how merchant data, services, availability, bookings, cancellations, and synchronization work within this type of integration. This should include: Technical architecture and integration plan. Required Google onboarding/integration configuration. Merchant, service, and availability synchronization. Booking creation and synchronization. Cancellation/modification handling where applicable. Error handling and monitoring. End-to-end testing. Assistance through Google's approval/launch process.
