Summary We are looking for experienced ADABAS Database Administrators (DBAs) for a full-time, long-term engagement supporting a large enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong hands-on experience with Software AG ADABAS who are interested in a long-term project. Key Responsibilities May Include: - Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of ADABAS database environments - Database performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning - Backup, recovery, and database availability management - Troubleshooting database-related issues and supporting production environments - Database configuration, upgrades, and maintenance activities - Capacity and performance planning - Support for application and infrastructure teams on ADABAS-related matters - Documentation of procedures, configurations, and operational activities - Participation in ongoing database optimization and reliability initiatives Required Qualifications: - Strong hands-on experience as an ADABAS DBA - Solid knowledge of Software AG ADABAS - Experience supporting enterprise and/or mission-critical production environments - Strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills - Experience with database backup, recovery, maintenance, and administration - Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical teams - Good written and verbal communication skills in English Experience with Natural, mainframe environments, or other Software AG technologies is a plus.
