Project Overview We’re building a premium personalized children’s book brand. Each book features a child’s real likeness integrated into hand-painted watercolor illustrations via AI image generation, not just a name inserted into a template. What We Need Built A personalization + fulfillment flow that works end-to-end: 1. Customer lands on a product page and enters their child’s name, uploads 1–3 reference photos, and optionally selects a pre-made character variant (hair color/style) closest to their child. 2. The system generates a live preview of the personalized book cover (initially just name/text overlay; a later phase will add AI-generated face integration into the illustrations). 3. Customer completes checkout via Stripe. 4. On successful payment, the system automatically assembles a print-ready PDF (merging the uploaded photo/name into our pre-built templates) and submits the order to Gelato’s Print API for production and fulfillment. 5. We need a simple admin dashboard to view incoming orders, their status, and manually approve/review before they go to print (at least in this first phase). Current Stage We have a working prototype built in Blink.new covering the front-end structure, product page, and Stripe checkout — this can be shared as a reference for tone, structure, and design direction.
