Summary We’re building a B2B2C SaaS platform in India where each business customer will connect its own WhatsApp Business presence to communicate with its own end clients. The platform is expected to scale to hundreds of businesses, so we need someone who understands multi-tenant WhatsApp architecture, onboarding, Meta requirements, and production realities. We’re looking for someone who has actually implemented this in production, not someone who has simply read Meta’s documentation. What You’ll Do You’ll help architect and implement our WhatsApp Business Platform integration, including: Evaluate direct Meta Cloud API / Tech Provider vs. BSP Design and implement multi-tenant onboarding Implement WhatsApp Embedded Signup Manage WhatsApp Business Accounts and phone numbers across tenants Implement multi-tenant webhook routing Build messaging, permissions, delivery/read/status handling Implement template creation, categorization, and management Advise on Business Verification, App Review, and Tech Provider requirements Test the integration across multiple business accounts/numbers Document the implementation for our engineering team The exact implementation scope will be finalized with the selected candidate based on our existing product and technical requirements. Must Have Hands-on production experience with: Meta WhatsApp Cloud API WhatsApp Embedded Signup Onboarding multiple independent businesses, not just one company’s number Multi-tenant WhatsApp architecture Webhook routing across multiple WhatsApp Business Accounts / phone numbers WhatsApp Utility / Marketing / Authentication templates Meta Business Verification / App Review Tech Provider / Solution Partner processes We want someone who understands the production edge cases that don’t appear in the documentation. Nice to Have Experience with: WhatsApp Flows India TRAI / DPDP considerations Regulated industries / fintech / wealth management High-volume transactional messaging CRM / customer-engagement platforms India-specific WhatsApp deployments How We Prefer to Work We expect the freelancer to work independently, make clear technical recommendations, and communicate decisions and trade-offs concisely. We already have product requirements and engineering context available. The engagement will begin with architecture alignment, followed by implementation and agreed milestones.
