Summary Developer Project Overview Project Overview We are looking for a developer to take over the development of a confidential online assessment platform. The platform will allow users to complete an online assessment and automatically receive a professional report based on their answers. The system needs to analyse the assessment results, compare them against benchmark data and use AI to produce useful insights and recommendations. The specific type of assessment and the commercial product are confidential and will be explained to the successful developer. The reports need to be high standard boardroom-ready dashboard. What Needs to Be Built 1. Assessment Data & Automation • Connect the assessment platform to the database. • Process and structure assessment responses. • Calculate scores and results. • Compare results against benchmark data. • Automate the movement of data through the system. • Use n8n to manage the automation. 2. AI Analysis & Reports Develop the AI system that analyses the assessment results. The reports need to be boardroom ready - a high standard of UI that provides visual representation of the data [charts etc] as well as qualitative information such as: The AI needs to identify: • Key strengths • Weaknesses • Green flags • Red flags • Important patterns • Benchmark differences • Key insights • Areas for improvement • Practical recommendations • Innovative strategies and best-practice suggestions • Suggested strategic initiatives [AI prompts needed to identify and suggest on end report]. The AI should produce consistent, high-quality analysis rather than generic AI responses. This will require development of the AI prompts, AI logic and automated report-generation process. 3. User Accounts & APIs Build the APIs needed for a future website to connect to the platform. This should include: • Individual accounts • Enterprise accounts • User registration/login • Assessment access • Results/report access • Account management • API authentication The public website itself is not part of this project. 4. Payments Connect the platform to a merchant of record / payment provider for processing. This should allow the system to recognise when a user has paid and provide access to the relevant assessment/product. 5. Gift Codes Build support for gift/voucher/package discount codes, including: • Creating codes • Validating codes • Tracking usage • Applying a code to the appropriate product Technology / Skills Required The developer should have good practical experience with: • n8n automation • AI API integration • AI prompt engineering • OpenAI and/or Gemini • REST APIs • Webhooks • Database/API integration • User authentication and accounts • Merchant of record /payment API integration • Automated report generation • JSON/data processing • GitHub • Basic cloud/deployment knowledge Important We want a clean and reliable platform that can: Collect data → analyse data → compare against benchmarks → use AI → create insights → create a report → deliver the report The system should also provide the API infrastructure for: Account → Payment → Assessment → Results → Report The platform will eventually support multiple assessment products, so the developer should build it in a way that allows new assessments to be added without rebuilding the whole system. Developer We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of this development rather than someone who only works on individual tasks. You should be comfortable understanding an existing system, improving it where necessary and building the remaining components. Strong n8n + API + AI/prompt engineering experience is particularly important. The existing SOW, current system and detailed requirements will be provided to shortlisted developers.
