Description

Summary Title: Next.js + TypeScript Developer for E-commerce Dashboard & Storefront We're building a flowers & gifts e-commerce platform for the Saudi market. The backend (NestJS + PostgreSQL) and the admin dashboard are already built and working. We need a strong frontend developer to build the customer-facing storefront and help polish the dashboard. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build the customer storefront in Next.js 16 (App Router, RSC-first): product listing, product detail, cart, checkout, customer account - Integrate with our existing REST API (types and Zod schemas are already shared via a workspace package) - Full Arabic RTL + English LTR support using next-intl - Polish and extend the existing admin dashboard (forms, tables, validation) - Focus on performance and SEO (server components, image optimization, LCP under 1.5s) REQUIRED SKILLS - Next.js 15/16 App Router and React Server Components (strong, hands-on) - TypeScript (strict), React 19 - Tailwind CSS v4 - TanStack Query, react-hook-form, Zod - Experience consuming REST APIs with cookie-based sessions - Arabic RTL layout experience is essential NICE TO HAVE - E-commerce or checkout flow experience - Familiarity with monorepos (pnpm workspaces, Turborepo) - Saudi/Gulf market experience (Mada, Tabby, Tamara) WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Someone who writes clean, maintainable code and can work independently from clear specs. We have a detailed technical plan and existing code conventions to follow, so consistency matters more than reinventing. Good written English for async communication. HOW TO APPLY - A short note on your most relevant Next.js App Router work - Portfolio links or live sites you've built (RTL/Arabic projects highly valued) - One line: how do you decide between a Server Component and a Client Component? If this sounds like your kind of project, we'd love to see your work.
