Summary Title: Airtable + Make.com + Twilio Automation Specialist for Home-Services Platform We are building a local home-services concierge platform that connects homeowners with qualified service providers, such as plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, landscapers, and handymen. The customer-facing website is being built in Lovable. We need an experienced Airtable and Make.com specialist to finish designing the operational system behind it and automate the workflow from work-order submission through provider outreach and response tracking. Project Overview When a homeowner submits a work order through our website, the system should: 1. Create a new Job record in Airtable. 2. Identify suitable service providers based on trade, services offered, service area, availability, and other relevant criteria. 3. Recommend or select approximately three providers for the job. 4. Create a separate Job Offer record for each selected provider. 5. Place the job and recommended providers into an Airtable admin dashboard for review. 6. Allow an administrator to approve, remove, or replace providers before outreach begins. 7. Generate a customized SMS message for each approved provider. 8. Send the messages through Twilio after administrative approval. 9. Record delivery information, provider responses, and offer statuses in Airtable. 10. Update the job’s status as it moves through the process. Current Technology Stack * Airtable * Make.com * Twilio * Lovable * APIs and webhooks as needed Our Airtable base currently includes, or is intended to include, the following tables: * Providers * Service Areas * Sources * Jobs * Job Offers We have begun setting up this system, but we need an expert to review the existing structure, recommend improvements, and complete the implementation. Key Responsibilities * Review and improve the existing Airtable base architecture * Establish appropriate relationships between tables * Connect Lovable work-order submissions to Airtable * Build provider-matching and filtering logic * Create Job Offer records for selected providers * Build or improve the Airtable administrative approval interface * Create the Make.com automation scenarios * Integrate Twilio for outbound and, if feasible, inbound SMS * Generate customized messages using provider and job information * Track message delivery, provider responses, and offer statuses * Add safeguards against duplicate records or duplicate messages * Build error handling, alerts, and automation logs * Test the entire workflow using sample records * Provide clear documentation and a recorded Loom walkthrough * Explain how we can safely edit and maintain the system after handoff Ideal Candidate You should have demonstrable experience with: * Airtable relational database design * Airtable Interfaces and automations * Make.com scenario development * Twilio SMS and Twilio APIs * API integrations and webhooks * Conditional matching or routing logic * Workflow automation * Error handling and troubleshooting * No-code or low-code applications * JavaScript or Airtable scripting when necessary Experience connecting Lovable or Supabase to Airtable would be helpful but is not required if you have strong API and webhook experience. Important Requirements * All Airtable bases, Make scenarios, Twilio configurations, scripts, and related assets must be built inside accounts owned by us. * The finished system must be tested and documented. * Automations should be organized, clearly named, and maintainable. * Please identify any limitations, ongoing costs, or scaling concerns before implementation. * Customer and provider information must be handled securely. * No live SMS messages should be sent during testing without approval.
