Summary We are looking for a technically strong, resourceful AI Automation & Systems Specialist to help us build automations and implement AI-powered workflows across our business. The hours per week will be 5-25 continuous, based on different but similar projects. This is a hands-on role. We are not looking for someone who simply advises us on what could be automated. We want someone who can build it, install it, test it, troubleshoot it, and document it. Our environment includes accounting, operations, reporting, email, document management, and other repetitive business processes. We are increasingly using AI and automation to make these processes faster and more efficient. What You Will Do Examples of projects include: Build and maintain Zapier automations Create multi-step Zaps with filters, paths, webhooks, formatting, and conditional logic Connect applications through APIs when a standard Zapier integration is not sufficient Take workflows or code created using Claude / Claude Code and implement them on our computers Install and configure Claude Code and related tools on Windows PCs Install scripts, applications, or AI tools on local drives Configure folders, file paths, permissions, environment variables, and dependencies Connect API keys and application credentials Help configure secure credential/password access for automations Set up .env files and other configuration files when appropriate Set up scheduled scripts and local automation processes Troubleshoot command-line, PowerShell, Windows Terminal, Node.js, Python, npm, Git, and related installation issues Connect AI workflows to Google Workspace, Microsoft products, QuickBooks, spreadsheets, CRMs, databases, and other business applications Create automations involving emails, PDFs, spreadsheets, folders, and data extraction Build workflows where AI reviews information and then takes predefined actions Test automations and create error handling so failures are easy to identify Document what was created so another person can maintain it Help us determine when Zapier is the right solution versus a local script, API, Claude Code, or another automation platform Examples of Projects We May Give You A typical request might sound like: "Here is the Claude Code project.
