Description

Summary ## Summary We're a Germany-based SaaS company with a global reach, powered by an amazing and diverse international remote team. We need someone who can build small internal admin panels - fast. These are throwaway tools: a colleague needs a UI to look at some data, trigger a job, fix a record, or run an internal process. They live for a few months and then they're gone. We don't need architecture astronauts here. We need something that works, is safe to run internally, and is done in 3–4 days. You'll work with Claude Code as your primary tool. That's the core skill, not a nice-to-have. If your workflow is "open the IDE and type PHP by hand", this is the wrong role. German is mandatory. Our products, our customers, and much of our domain context (invoicing, tax, HR, German business processes) are German-language. You need to read a German requirements note or listen to a German voice memo and know what to build. ## What you'll do - Build small internal admin panels in PHP: CRUD screens, data views, filters, exports, simple job triggers, basic role handling - Work from rough input: a voice memo, a Slack thread, a Linear ticket, a screenshot, a database schema - Use Claude Code end to end - prompting, skills, subagents, context management - Ship in days, not weeks: typical task is 3–4 days from brief to something clickable on staging - Keep the repo boring: GitHub flow, PRs, Renovate keeping dependencies current, CI green - Hand over cleanly and move on to the next panel ## What "good enough" means here We're explicit about this because it's unusual: these tools are internal, short-lived, and used by a handful of people. We are not asking for 90% test coverage or a hexagonal architecture. We *are* asking for: - It works, and it keeps working without you babysitting it - Auth and access control are correct - internal doesn't mean unprotected - Readable enough that the next person can change it in an afternoon - Dependencies patched, no obvious injection or upload holes Pragmatic, not sloppy. ## Your profile - Solid German & English - Strong hands-on experience with Claude Code - daily driver, not "tried it once" - Solid PHP; comfortable with a modern framework and an admin/CRUD toolkit (we mostly use Laravel + Filament) - GitHub-based workflows, PRs, Renovate, CI - no hand-holding needed - Comfortable in someone else's codebase and conventions rather than starting from scratch your way - Able to scope yourself: you tell us when a "small panel" is actually a product Bonus: AWS, Docker, Cloudflare, Linux, MySQL ## How we work Async-first. Slack, Linear, GitHub, occasional MS Teams. Short and direct beats long and formal - a two-minute voice message is better than a five-paragraph email. No Scrum ceremonies, no big up-front plans. We care about what works and how quickly you get there. This is ongoing, task-based work: individual jobs of roughly 3–4 days, recurring as they come up. Monday to Friday, with real overlap to European hours. ## How to apply Please include: 1. One paragraph **in German** about the last internal tool or admin panel you built - what it was, how long it took, what you'd do differently. 2. A link or screenshots of something real you shipped (repo, staging URL, screen recording - anything we can actually look at). 3. Which AI coding tools you use daily, and one specific trick or setup that makes you faster than the average user. 4. Your day rate or your price for a typical 3–4 day panel. Applications without a German paragraph won't be reviewed.
