Description
Summary We are an immigration law firm seeking an experienced developer to integrate MyCase with Notion to improve our internal case management workflow. The goal is to reduce manual effort by synchronizing key case information between the two platforms and automating repetitive tasks. We need someone who can build a reliable connection, map data accurately, and help streamline our daily operations through automation. The Notion database is already designed, but it is not currently in production. We need help making it functional and connecting it to MyCase. Main Workflow: We need two-way synchronization between Notion and MyCase. 1. Notion → MyCase When a new case (page) is created in Notion's database for case tracking, automatically create the corresponding matter in MyCase using at least the main fields, such as: * Client name * Matter type * Attorney * Case Manager * Notes * Other required fields The MyCase Matter ID/link should then be added back to the Notion page. 2. MyCase → Notion When relevant information is changed in MyCase, including custom fields, automatically update the corresponding Notion case page. 3. Notion → MyCase Updates When relevant information is changed in Notion, automatically update the corresponding MyCase matter. The goal is to avoid duplicate data entry and keep both systems synchronized, while clearly defining which system is the source of truth for each type of information. Also, obtain reports on pending cases or filed cases. Additional Automation We would also like to explore: * Automatic Google Drive folder creation * Default task lists in Notion Important: MyCase will remain our primary system for client/matter records, billing, payments, and immigration forms. Notion will be our internal case-tracking and task-management system.
