Summary We are seeking a highly technical AI developer to build an end-to-end, autonomous job application system powered by Claude. The objective is to create a reliable agentic workflow that can intelligently source job postings, analyze requirements against a base profile, dynamically generate highly tailored cover letters or proposals using Claude, and automate the submission process. Key Responsibilities: Develop a robust data-gathering system to source relevant job postings from target platforms (e.g., Upwork, LinkedIn, Indeed) via APIs or scraping. Integrate the Anthropic Claude API to analyze job descriptions, extract key requirements, and autonomously draft personalized, context-aware proposals. Build the core execution pipeline using Python, Node.js, or advanced automation platforms like n8n. Implement browser automation (e.g., Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium) to handle automated application submissions, form-filling, and login states. Set up a centralized tracking database (e.g., Supabase) to log sourced jobs, application statuses, and AI-generated responses for manual review and tuning. Required Skills & Experience: AI Integration: Deep experience working with the Anthropic Claude API, specifically handling system prompts, context management, and structured data output (JSON). Browser Automation: Proven track record using Playwright, Puppeteer, or Selenium for web scraping and automating complex user journeys on secure sites. Backend & Data Routing: Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript/Node.js. Experience mapping complex workflows in n8n or similar logic engines is a major plus. Database Management: Experience hooking up automated workflows to databases like Supabase or PostgreSQL to track system activity. Bypass & Anti-Bot: Understanding of best practices for headless browsing, proxy rotation, and handling common scraping roadblocks. Nice-to-Haves (Bonus): Previous experience building tools specifically for Upwork or LinkedIn automation. Familiarity with fine-tuning open-source models or implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) for better resume matching.
