Summary About the project We are a merchandise design, production and fulfilment business. We have built an initial client portal in Base44 that gives each client access to information relating to their products, sales and payouts. The basic portal is working. We now need an experienced Base44 developer to strengthen the backend and automate the connection between Shopify and each client’s portal. We are looking for someone who can improve the existing application rather than rebuild it unnecessarily. Current portal features Each client currently has access to: - Inventory displayed by SKU, product and size - A personal Shopify order code and ordering instructions - Sales and payout reports - Current client agreement terms Most of this information is currently entered or updated manually. Primary scope 1. Shopify integration Build a secure connection between our Shopify store and the Base44 portal using the Shopify Admin API. The integration should: -Map each Base44 client to one or more Shopify product Vendors -Make the Vendor-to-client mapping configurable by an administrator -Pull products, variants, SKUs, sizes and inventory quantities -Allow us to select which Shopify inventory location or locations are included -Pull sales data for each client’s products -Account correctly for discounts, refunds, cancellations and order edits -Support an initial historical data import -Run automatically on an appropriate schedule -Include a manual “Sync now” option for administrators -Display when the data was last updated We are open to the developer recommending the most reliable combination of scheduled synchronisation and Shopify webhooks. 2. Sales and payout reporting Upgrade the existing sales and payout reporting so that it is driven by Shopify data. Reports should include: Reporting period Units sold Gross product sales Discounts Refunds and cancellations Net sales EDITIONSS fees or commissions Other approved adjustments Final amount payable to the client Downloadable report or statement Live sales reporting and formal payout statements should be treated separately. Payout statements should have a simple workflow such as: Draft → Approved → Paid Once approved, the statement should remain fixed so that later Shopify changes do not silently alter a previously issued payout. Later refunds or adjustments can be applied to the next reporting period. We will provide the existing payout rules and calculation logic. 3. Client business and payment profile Add a simple area
