Summary Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AI Prompt Engineer with proven expertise in VAPI, Make.com, and ChatGPT prompt design to build, fine-tune, and deploy automated voice-driven workflows. This is a long-term, ongoing role for someone capable of independently designing and testing end-to-end AI voice solutions with minimal client input. --- Deliverables: Functional AI Voice Agent flows using VAPI Integrated workflows using Make.com Embedded ChatGPT prompt logic for conversational reasoning Support for custom APIs, calendar setup, and call transfer logic Turnaround per automation: 5 business days --- Responsibilities: Engineer voice interactions using VAPI and ChatGPT Set up custom tools inside VAPI, including: -Customer API integration (API keys and docs provided) -Calendar event scheduling and availability logic -Call transfer behavior based on caller interaction Configure workflow paths in Make.com to power automations Apply common sense and logic without needing every edge case defined e.g., Transfer call when user is irate or demands a human e.g., Hang up only after confirming the end of conversation Test, debug, and document each build with consistent standards --- Required Skills: Advanced experience with VAPI.ai voice agent development Workflow automation using Make.com Strong ChatGPT prompt writing (for smart, realistic responses) Understanding of conversational logic, fallback conditions, and NLP behavior Ability to self-direct and make intelligent logic choices --- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with API authentication, data parsing, and webhooks Experience creating fallback logic via Twilio Experience with call center AI, customer support automations, or outbound AI calls --- Tools / Software: **NON-Negotiable** VAPI.ai (Required) Make.com (Required) OpenAI / ChatGPT Google Calendar (API integration) Postman or similar API testing tools Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) --- Past Experience: Must show at least 2 examples of prior VAPI voice agent implementations with automations Bonus: Experience building VAPI tools like calendar setup, API lookups, or call transfer features Must demonstrate how logic was applied independently in past projects --- Language Requirements: Fluent in English (spoken and written) --- Working Hours: Must be available and responsive during EST 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
