Description
Summary Job Description We are a U.S.-based custom awards manufacturing company building an internal AI-powered Executive Command Center. We currently use Zoho One, including Zoho CRM and Zoho Books, to manage sales, customers, estimates, sales orders, invoices, and other business information. We are looking for an experienced Zoho developer/integration specialist to help us securely connect our existing Zoho data to an external AI-powered Executive Dashboard. This is NOT a Zoho implementation from scratch. We already use Zoho. The immediate objective is to understand our existing setup, map the correct fields, and establish a reliable API/data connection. Phase 1 — What We Need The developer will review our existing Zoho configuration and identify/map the data needed from: Zoho CRM — Deals Zoho CRM — Accounts/Customers Zoho Books — Estimates Zoho Books — Sales Orders Zoho Books — Invoices Zoho Books — Payments Relevant custom fields already being used We want to securely expose this information through the appropriate Zoho APIs, OAuth, webhooks and/or Zoho Flow, depending on the best architecture. Executive Dashboard Requirements Our dashboard needs to calculate and display: New Orders New Customer/Email Inquiries Estimates Waiting Revenue Yesterday Open Sales Orders Sales Orders in Production Invoices More Than 3 Days Past Due Deal/Pipeline Information We also want Sales Orders categorized by major product category: RINGS | MEDALS | TROPHIES | PLAQUES | COINS | BELTS | AWARDS | OTHER We also need to identify orders/customers belonging to a specific customer segment called: MUSIC LADDER / MUSIC SCHOOLS Eventually, we want to ask natural-language questions such as: "How many ring orders are currently in production?" "Show me Music Ladder sales orders." "How much revenue did we do yesterday?" "Which estimates need follow-up?" "Which invoices are more than 3 days overdue?" "Break current production down by product category." The AI/dashboard development is a larger project. This initial engagement is primarily about getting the Zoho data architecture and integration correct. Required Experience Please apply only if you have strong hands-on experience with: Zoho One Zoho CRM Zoho Books Zoho APIs OAuth 2.0 Zoho Flow Webhooks Custom fields/modules REST APIs JSON External application integrations Experience integrating Zoho with AI/LLM applications, ChatGPT/OpenAI, dashboards, reporting systems, or middleware is a major plus. Security Requirement We want to begin with READ-ONLY access wherever practical. We do not want passwords, API credentials, access tokens, refresh tokens, or other secrets stored insecurely. The developer must follow proper OAuth/API credential management practices. Phase 1 Deliverables At completion, we expect: Audit of our existing Zoho structure Data/field mapping document Identification of required custom fields, if any Secure Zoho API/OAuth configuration Working method for retrieving required data Documentation of API endpoints/modules/fields used Sample structured output for the Executive Dashboard Recommendations for real-time vs. scheduled synchronization Clear documentation so another developer can maintain the integration Documentation and maintainability are very important to us. IMPORTANT — Please Answer These Questions Please answer all five when applying: 1. Describe a Zoho CRM/Books API integration you personally built. 2. How would you securely connect Zoho CRM and Zoho Books to an external AI/dashboard application? 3. Would you recommend direct Zoho APIs, Zoho Flow, webhooks, or a combination for this project? Why? 4. How would you identify and report Sales Orders by customer segment and product category if our SKU system is not yet fully standardized? 5. Have you integrated Zoho data with OpenAI, ChatGPT, another LLM, or an AI application? If yes, briefly describe the architecture. Please begin your proposal with the words: "CCA COMMAND CENTER" This lets us know you read the complete posting. Project Structure Phase 1: Zoho audit + field mapping + secure API/data connection If Phase 1 is successful, there is significant opportunity for additional work developing integrations and functionality for the full Executive Command Center. We prefer someone interested in becoming a long-term technical partner, not simply completing a one-time task.
