Description

We are a marketing and communications agency seeking a reliable WordPress professional (no agencies please) to provide ongoing website updates and technical support for an existing client website. The website is already developed and operational. This is not a ground-up build or senior-level development role. We need someone who can work comfortably within the existing site, make routine updates, create new pages when needed and support occasional campaign-related projects. Hours will vary. Some weeks may require only a handful of hours for routine updates, while larger page builds or campaigns may require a more concentrated block of time. Responsibilities may include: Updating existing WordPress pages and content Creating new pages within the current website design Updating navigation, buttons, forms and links Troubleshooting basic layout or functionality issues Integrating third-party platforms, including GoFundMe Pro Creating and supporting campaign subdomains when needed Providing hosting-platform and DNS support as needed Testing updates on desktop and mobile Identifying issues that require more advanced development support The ideal candidate will: Have practical experience managing WordPress websites Be comfortable working within an existing theme or page builder Have experience with basic third-party integrations Understand common hosting platforms, domains, subdomains and DNS settings Communicate clearly and respond promptly Be dependable and sensitive to client dea
