Summary AI-Powered Quotation Automation System for Engineering Company We are an engineering company specializing in industrial buildings and technical solutions (www.ct-technologies.dk). We are looking for an experienced AI developer to build an intelligent quotation generation system that can reduce the time spent preparing customer quotations while improving consistency and quality. The system should be able to generate high-quality quotation drafts based on historical quotations, standard material price lists, and project requirements. We are open to different technology approaches, including: Microsoft Copilot Agents Claude-based solutions OpenAI / ChatGPT-based solutions Custom AI applications Hybrid solutions combining AI and traditional software development. Today, our quotations are prepared manually by reviewing previous projects and selecting suitable products and materials. We would like to automate much of this process by leveraging our existing quotation database and product knowledge. The goal is for the system to: - Analyze customer requirements. - Identify similar historical quotations/projects. - Suggest appropriate products and materials. - Generate a professional quotation draft including price, payment terms, etc. - Automatically create persuasive sales text explaining why the recommended solution is suitable for the customer's specific needs. It should be easy to use and available for our sales people to be able to do first draft quotations for our customers while they have customer meetings. The solution should be able to utilize: - Historical quotations (our existing quotation database, which is quite big) - Material and product price lists - Product specifications and technical documentation - Business rules and engineering requirements If the AI selects a specific product (e.g. sandwich panel), it should explain why, such as: Fire safety performance Thermal insulation performance Corrosion resistance Durability Cost effectiveness Compliance with relevant standards The generated text should sound professional and sales-oriented rather than generic AI output. User Experience Preferred workflow: - User (sales managers and quotation manager) enters project details and customer requirements. - AI System searches historical projects/quotations and our standard price lists. - AI Recommends solution. - AI Generates quotation draft. - User reviews and edits. - Final quotation is exported to Word/PDF.
