Summary We’re looking for an experienced developer to build an end-to-end outbound AI voice agent for automated cold calling. The agent will automatically call leads from our Apollo lists, hold natural sales conversations, qualify prospects, handle common objections, identify service interest, and attempt to book discovery calls. Our planned stack is: Vapi Twilio n8n CRM API Slack Apollo lead lists Scope of Work Build an automated outbound calling workflow that can: Trigger outbound calls automatically from a lead list Use Vapi and Twilio to conduct natural, non-robotic conversations Present our agency services to prospects Handle common objections Determine whether the prospect is interested Identify which service they are interested in Handle callback requests Identify wrong contacts Attempt to book a discovery call when appropriate After every call, the system should automatically capture the call outcome and update our CRM. Possible outcomes include: Interested Not interested Callback requested Wrong contact The CRM record should also be tagged based on the service the lead showed interest in. For high-intent leads, the workflow should immediately send a Slack notification to our sales team so they can follow up while the prospect is still warm. Important We do not want several disconnected automations. The outbound call trigger, Vapi/Twilio interaction, call result processing, CRM update, service-interest tagging, and Slack notification should all be connected through n8n as one automated workflow. Required Experience You should have hands-on experience with: Vapi outbound calling Twilio n8n Webhooks HTTP requests Conditional logic REST APIs CRM integrations AI voice agents or outbound sales automation Experience with outbound Vapi implementations is required. Experience only building inbound voice agents is not sufficient. CRM API integration experience is also important, as we need the workflow to be reliable and properly handle call outcomes and lead updates.
