Description

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to take full ownership of a growing WordPress/WooCommerce multi-vendor marketplace. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for ongoing maintenance and development. Responsibilities: Phase 1 – Legacy Rescue & Performance • Audit WordPress, WooCommerce, custom plugins, PHP, and MySQL. • Identify security issues, technical debt, slow queries, and bottlenecks. • Improve caching, database indexing, and overall performance. • Fix vendor checkout, commission, payout, and dashboard issues. • Refactor legacy code into clean, scalable, maintainable standards. Phase 2 – Marketplace Development • Build modern React-based vendor dashboards. • Develop lightweight real-time buyer/vendor messaging and notifications. • Implement advanced tiered commission and payout logic. • Build an interactive product configurator. Phase 3 – API Integration & Automation • Develop Node.js/PHP middleware for ERP/CRM synchronization. • Automate vendor verification, onboarding, and account provisioning. • Integrate shipping/3PL and tax calculation APIs. • Build secure and reliable webhook infrastructure. Required Skills: PHP, WordPress/WooCommerce, Laravel, Node.js, React, JavaScript, MySQL, REST APIs, Webhooks, HTML/CSS, and scalable architecture.
