Summary ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for an experienced N8N Automation Engineer to join our team and help us build AI-powered automation solutions for our clients. We specialize in building cybersecurity and business solutions using N8N, AI, APIs, and other systems. This person will work alongside our existing team to design, build, test, and maintain production-grade automations. This is not a simple workflow-building role. We’re looking for someone who understands how to architect reliable automations, integrate multiple systems, work with APIs, and translate business and cybersecurity requirements into working solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO Design and build complex N8N workflows and AI-powered automations Build production-ready automations for client use cases Integrate N8N with APIs, SaaS platforms, databases, and internal systems Work with LLMs and AI agents inside automation workflows Help integrate external systems into our own platform and applications Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing N8N workflows Work with webhooks, REST APIs, JSON, authentication, data transformation, and error handling Help architect reliable workflows that can scale beyond simple prototypes Translate client requirements into technical automation solutions Collaborate with cybersecurity consultants and developers on cybersecurity-focused use cases Document workflows and technical decisions so the team can maintain what you build Participate in client projects and potentially communicate directly with clients when needed WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Strong hands-on experience building advanced N8N workflows Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, and system integrations Experience building AI/LLM-powered automations Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI platforms Strong understanding of automation architecture and workflow design Cybersecurity experience or strong familiarity with cybersecurity use cases Ability to understand cybersecurity concepts such as risk assessments, compliance, vulnerability management, security operations, GRC, or third-party risk Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Ability to take a high-level requirement and independently turn it into a working technical solution Good written and verbal communication Comfortable working as part of a distributed team Strong attention to detail and ownership of your work WHO THIS ROLE IS FOR You should be someone who enjoys figuring out how systems fit together and building the actual solution. We don't want someone who only knows how to connect basic N8N nodes. We need someone who can look at a complicated business or cybersecurity process, understand the desired outcome, determine which systems need to interact, and architect the automation to make it happen. You should also be comfortable asking questions, challenging requirements when necessary, and communicating clearly with the rest of the team.
