Description

Summary We're looking for an experienced n8n developer to design and build production-ready automation workflows for our business. We're a SaaS company with a backlog of manual processes we want turned into reliable automated systems. We need someone who builds clean, well-structured, maintainable workflows — not quick prototypes — and who can map a process before building it, recommend the right approach, and hand over something our team can actually maintain. What you'll do: Design and build complex multi-step n8n workflows Integrate APIs, webhooks, and third-party platforms with proper auth and data mapping Work with JSON and JavaScript expressions inside n8n Add AI-assisted steps where they genuinely help (OpenAI / Claude) Build in error handling, retries, and dedupe so workflows fail loudly instead of silently Test and refine until workflows are stable in production Document everything (or provide a Loom walkthrough) so our team can maintain it You should have: Proven experience building complex n8n workflows for real clients Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, and JavaScript expressions Experience integrating CRMs, databases, and third-party tools A track record of reliable, well-documented automations Experience with Make.com or Zapier a plus (especially for migrations) Ability to work independently and communicate progress clearly To apply, please include: A brief overview of your n8n experience Examples of complex workflows you've built and what they did Your experience with APIs, Webhooks, and integrations
