Summary Project Description: We are building a lean B2B solution for automated appointment booking via WhatsApp for hair salons and service providers. For the creation of the prototype (master template) as well as the subsequent technical setup for new clients, we are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer / Freelancer (m/f/d). The goal is to establish a system where end customers can book, reschedule, or cancel appointments around the clock via WhatsApp without requiring the salon owner to manually intervene. Tasks & Technical System Requirements: WhatsApp Business API Integration: Connection via an official interface (e.g., via 360dialog, Wati, ManyChat, or Meta Cloud API). Webhook-based processing of incoming messages. Interactive Booking Flow: Inquiry of the service (e.g., men's haircut, women's wash/cut/blow-dry, coloring). Inquiry of desired day and time. Automatic real-time check of available slots and final booking confirmation including customer data capture. Calendar Synchronization & Cancellation Protection: Seamless connection to the salon calendar (e.g., Google Calendar, Cal.com, or comparable). Prevention of double bookings through real-time blocking of occupied times. Automated appointment reminder via WhatsApp (e.g., 24 hours before the appointment). Scalable Master Template: Construction of a reusable template (in Make.com or n8n). The setup for a new client onboarding must be executable within 15–30 minutes (adjustment of salon name, prices/durations, calendar link, and number). Requirements for You: Proven practical experience with Make.com or n8n. Solid knowledge of webhooks, REST APIs, and the WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Experience in integrating calendar systems and databases (e.g., Airtable, Google Sheets, Supabase). Clean documentation of the built workflows. Compensation Model & Partnership: We are starting lean with a clear milestone model: Setup Fee per New Client: You receive a fixed fee of €100 to €150 directly from the setup fee of each acquired client for the technical initial setup (triggered after the first sales success). Monthly Tech Retainer: Once we have the first active salons, the compensation shifts to a fixed monthly service fee per client account. Perspective: Upon scaling (target: 100+ salons), there is the opportunity to join permanently as Lead Technical Architect and transition the system to a custom dashboard.
