Summary Senior AWS & MySQL Database Engineer – Aurora MySQL Setup We are looking for a senior AWS/MySQL expert to set up, organize, secure, and optimize our AWS database infrastructure. Scope of Work Review our requirements and AWS account readiness Design and configure VPC, subnets, routing, NACLs, and Security Groups Deploy Aurora MySQL Serverless v2 with 1 Writer + 1 Reader Configure RDS Proxy Deploy and secure an EC2 Bastion Server Configure CloudWatch monitoring and logs Import our existing MySQL database dump Perform complete end-to-end testing Test failover and recovery Review the overall setup for security, performance, reliability, and scalability Must Have Strong hands-on experience with AWS Aurora MySQL Expert-level MySQL administration and performance tuning Experience with AWS networking and security Experience with Aurora Serverless v2, RDS Proxy, EC2, and CloudWatch Proven experience handling production/high-traffic MySQL databases Preferred Experience with MySQL clustering, replication, database migration, and high-availability environments.
