I have an existing web-based application that is currently using a MySQL database, but I’m not sure what technology stack or development framework the application itself is built with. I’m looking to have the existing application reviewed and then upgraded and further developed. I would like to keep the existing MySQL database, while considering Laravel for the backend/framework if it is suitable for the current system. Some of the main improvements I’m looking for include: Reviewing the current application and identifying the existing technology stack Reviewing the current MySQL database structure and determining whether it needs optimization or restructuring Migrating or rebuilding the backend using Laravel, if appropriate Improving and automating existing processes Further developing and expanding existing sections of the application Adding user alerts and notifications Automating tasks and workflows where possible Improving the overall performance, usability, and reliability of the application Identifying opportunities for additional features and automation I would prefer to start with an assessment of the existing application so we can understand how it is currently built, what can be reused, what needs to be improved, and the best approach for upgrading it without losing existing data or functionality.
