We are seeking a WordPress freelancer to simplify and migrate our website for an Australian financial advice business. The site, hosted on Flywheel, currently uses WordPress with Corporate Pro / Genesis, Beaver Builder, and PowerPack. Due to PHP 8.2 compatibility issues, we aim to switch to the Twenty Twenty-Four theme, rebuild key pages with standard WordPress blocks, reduce reliance on Beaver Builder/PowerPack, and remove unnecessary plugins. The site is primarily for professional credibility and compliance information, not for active marketing or blogging. Project Scope 1. Review the current live website and confirm Flywheel staging is reset from live. 2. Work only in staging until approval and confirm backups before changes. 3. Install and configure Twenty Twenty-Four in staging. 4. Recreate key pages using WordPress blocks and preserve URLs where possible. 5. Preserve and test Privacy Policy, Financial Services Guide and XPLAN Client Login links. 6. Remove the contact form and replace with direct contact wording. 7. Remove unnecessary tracking scripts/plugins. 8. Reduce or remove reliance on Beaver Builder and PowerPack. 9. Remove Genesis/Corporate Pro dependency. 10. Clean up unnecessary plugins after confirming they are not needed. 11. Test staging and live site on PHP 8.2 after approval. 12. Activate/configure Flywheel Managed Plugin Updates after launch. 13. Provide a short written handover guide and final maintenance checklist. Refer attached for additional detail.
