Description
Summary We build custom AI and agentic systems for accounting and tax firms: internal tooling, workflow systems, practice-management integrations, and document pipelines. We are an OpenAI Select Partner. We are hiring a senior engineer to serve as technical delivery lead on live client engagements. You will operate under our brand, using our email, our Slack, and our documentation. To the client, you are one of our engineers. THE ROLE You run technical discovery calls, scope builds with the client, deliver the work, and handle technical questions directly. We own the commercial relationship, pricing, and account strategy. You own technical execution and the technical relationship. This is not a heads-down contractor role. Our clients are CPA firm owners and operations leads. You will be on video with them weekly. Clear communication and calm under scrutiny matter as much as your engineering. You will architect against synthetic or anonymized data and will not be granted access to live production systems or real taxpayer data. Before any client contact you will sign our subcontractor agreement and receive the written notice required under 26 CFR 301.7216-2(h)(2). HOW WE WORK All work is fixed-price against written acceptance tests. We do not work hourly. Every scope is defined in writing before it starts, and changes go through a written change order. Milestone 1, 2,500 USD: trial build against a written acceptance test using synthetic data, plus one supervised client call. Milestone 2, 2,500 USD: first scoped client SOW. If both go well, this becomes ongoing SOW-based work with a standing rate card.
