Description
Summary # Full-Stack Developer / Development Team Needed to Build a Dropshipping SaaS Platform Like CJdropshipping & Avasam ## Project Overview I am looking for an experienced **full-stack developer or development team** to build a complete **dropshipping SaaS platform / supplier marketplace** similar in functionality to: * CJdropshipping * Avasam * DropXL The goal is to create a platform where online sellers can: 1. Browse products from suppliers 2. Search and filter products 3. Import products into their own stores/marketplaces 4. Automatically sync product information 5. Automatically sync stock and prices 6. Receive customer orders 7. Automatically send orders to suppliers 8. Track fulfilment and shipping 9. Sync tracking information back to the sales channel 10. Manage suppliers, products, customers and orders from one dashboard This will initially focus on the **UK dropshipping market**, with architecture that can later support the US, EU and other markets. ## IMPORTANT I am **not looking for a simple WordPress/WooCommerce website or a basic ecommerce store**. I need a proper **SaaS platform with a scalable backend, APIs, dashboards, database, supplier management, inventory synchronization and marketplace/store integrations**. The system should be built as a serious commercial platform that can eventually handle thousands of users, suppliers, products and orders. --- # 1. User/Seller System Users should be able to: * Register/login * Email verification * Forgot/reset password * User profile * Company/business information * Billing information * Subscription management * Dashboard * Notifications * Support tickets * Activity/history * API credentials * Connected stores/marketplaces ### Seller Dashboard Dashboard should show: * Total products * Imported products * Orders * Pending orders * Processing orders * Shipped orders * Delivered orders * Failed orders * Returns * Total sales * Product costs * Shipping costs * Profit * Connected stores * Low-stock products * Recent activity --- # 2. Product Marketplace / Catalogue Create a large searchable product catalogue similar to CJdropshipping/Avasam. Each product should contain: * Product name * SKU * Supplier * Category * Subcategory * Product images * Product videos * Description * Specifications * Variations * Size * Colour * Weight * Dimensions * Supplier price * Recommended selling price * Shipping cost * Shipping methods * Estimated delivery time * Available stock * Warehouse location * Product status * Product tags ### Search & Filters Users should be able to filter by: * Category * Supplier * Price * Profit margin * Stock * Warehouse * Shipping destination * Shipping time * Product rating * Best sellers * New products * Trending products Search needs to be fast and scalable. --- # 3. Supplier Management System Admin should be able to add and manage suppliers. Supplier dashboard should include: * Supplier registration * Supplier verification * Supplier profile * Company information * Warehouse locations * Product catalogue * Inventory * Wholesale prices * Dropshipping prices * Shipping methods * Shipping rates * Processing time * Returns policy * Supplier ratings * Supplier performance * Orders * Payments * Commission Suppliers should be able to upload/update products individually or in bulk. ### Product Import Support: * CSV import * Excel import * API-based product import * Bulk product upload The system should automatically validate product data before publishing. --- # 4. Product Import / Listing Tool Sellers should be able to select products from the platform and click: **"Import Product" / "Add to Store"** Before importing, sellers should be able to edit: * Product title * Description * Images * Variations * SKU * Selling price * Pricing rules * Product tags * Product category ### Pricing Rules Example: Supplier price: £10 Seller can configure: * +£5 fixed markup * +30% markup * 1.5x supplier price * Custom pricing The system should automatically calculate selling prices. --- # 5. Store Integrations This is one of the most important parts of the project. Initially I want integrations with: * Shopify * WooCommerce * eBay * Amazon * TikTok Shop The architecture should allow additional integrations to be added later. Avasam currently supports integrations including Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop, BigCommerce and OnBuy, so the platform should be designed with a similar multi-channel architecture. --- # 6. Shopify Integration Users should be able to: 1. Connect Shopify store 2. Authorise the platform 3. Import products 4. Push products to Shopify 5. Update product information 6. Sync inventory 7. Sync prices 8. Receive orders 9. Send orders to suppliers 10. Receive tracking information 11. Update Shopify orders automatically --- # 7. WooCommerce Integration Users should be able to connect WooCommerce using API credentials. Required functionality: * Product import * Product export * Product updates * Stock synchronization * Price synchronization * Order synchronization * Tracking synchronization * Order status updates --- # 8. eBay Integration Need proper eBay API integration. Features: * Connect eBay account * Import products * List products * Bulk listing * Update listings * Inventory synchronization * Price synchronization * Order synchronization * Tracking updates * Order status updates --- # 9. Amazon Integration Amazon integration should be designed using Amazon's official APIs where applicable. Required functionality: * Connect seller account * Product listing * Inventory synchronization * Price synchronization * Order retrieval * Order fulfilment * Tracking updates * Order status synchronization The system must comply with Amazon API and marketplace policies. --- # 10. TikTok Shop Integration Need API-based TikTok Shop integration where officially supported. Required functionality: * Connect shop * Product listing * Product updates * Inventory sync * Price sync * Orders * Fulfilment * Tracking --- # 11. Automatic Inventory Synchronization This is a critical feature. Example: Supplier has: **100 units** Seller has the product listed on: * Shopify * eBay * Amazon * TikTok Shop Supplier stock changes to: **75 units** The system should automatically update stock across all connected channels. The synchronization frequency should be configurable. The system should also prevent overselling as much as technically possible. Avasam, for example, uses automatic inventory synchronization to help prevent overselling. --- # 12. Automatic Price Synchronization If supplier changes: £10 → £12 The platform should automatically recalculate the seller's price based on their pricing rules. Example: Supplier price = £12 Markup = 30% Selling price automatically becomes: £15.60 The updated price should then synchronize to connected marketplaces/stores. --- # 13. Order Management System Orders should automatically enter the platform from connected stores. Order statuses: * New * Pending Payment * Paid * Submitted to Supplier * Processing * Packed * Shipped * In Transit * Delivered * Cancelled * Failed * Returned * Refunded Admin and sellers should have complete order history. --- # 14. Automatic Supplier Fulfilment Example workflow: Customer buys product on Shopify. ↓ Order enters our platform. ↓ System identifies connected supplier/product. ↓ System sends order to supplier. ↓ Supplier processes order. ↓ Supplier ships product. ↓ Tracking number is received. ↓ Tracking number is sent back to our platform. ↓ Tracking number is pushed to Shopify/eBay/Amazon/TikTok Shop. ↓ Customer receives shipping update. This entire process should be automated wherever the supplier/API supports it. CJdropshipping uses a similar product-connection and automated-order workflow. --- # 15. Shipping System Need a shipping management module. Each supplier/product can have: * Shipping country * Shipping method * Shipping price * Processing time * Estimated delivery * Carrier * Tracking URL Example: UK Standard: £3.99 Delivery: 2–5 working days The seller should be able to see shipping costs before importing/listing products. --- # 16. Tracking System Tracking should support: * Tracking number * Carrier * Tracking status * Shipment date * Delivery date * Tracking URL The system should automatically update tracking information. --- # 17. Returns & Refunds Create a complete returns management system. Seller can: * Request return * Request refund * Upload evidence * Communicate with supplier * Track return status Supplier/admin can: * Approve/reject return * Issue refund * Provide return instructions * Update status --- # 18. Sourcing Request System I also want a feature similar to CJdropshipping's sourcing system. If a seller cannot find a product, they can submit: **Product Sourcing Request** They should be able to provide: * Product name * Product URL * Image * Target price * Quantity * Destination country * Additional notes Admin/supplier can then respond with: * Product * Supplier * Cost * Shipping cost * Estimated delivery * Available stock CJ currently allows users to submit sourcing requests when a product isn't already in its catalogue. --- # 19. Bulk Operations Users should be able to perform bulk actions. Examples: * Bulk import products * Bulk edit prices * Bulk edit descriptions * Bulk update products * Bulk publish products * Bulk unpublish products * Bulk delete * Bulk inventory updates * Bulk CSV import/export --- # 20. Admin Dashboard Admin should have complete control. ### Admin Features * Users * Suppliers * Products * Categories * Orders * Payments * Subscriptions * Commissions * Returns * Refunds * Shipping * Warehouses * Inventory * Integrations * API management * Support tickets * Notifications * Reports * System settings --- # 21. Supplier Dashboard Supplier should have their own dashboard. Supplier can: * Add products * Edit products * Upload images * Update inventory * Update prices * Manage orders * Update shipment * Add tracking * Manage returns * View sales * View earnings * View customers/orders * Communicate with sellers/admin --- # 22. Warehouse Management The system should support multiple warehouses. Example: * UK Warehouse * China Warehouse * USA Warehouse * EU Warehouse Each warehouse should have: * Products * SKU * Inventory * Location * Cost * Shipping methods * Processing time The architecture should allow new warehouses to be added later. --- # 23. Subscription System This should be a SaaS business. Possible plans: ### Free Limited products/stores ### Starter More products and stores ### Professional More automation and products ### Business Higher limits ### Enterprise Custom limits/API access Need: * Stripe integration * Subscription management * Trial periods * Recurring payments * Upgrade/downgrade * Cancellation * Invoices * Payment history --- # 24. Commission System If suppliers sell through our platform, admin should be able to configure commissions. Example: Supplier product price: £20 Platform commission: 10% Supplier receives: £18 Commission rules should be configurable. --- # 25. Notifications Notifications should be available for: * New orders * Low stock * Out of stock * Price changes * Failed synchronization * Failed orders * Shipment updates * Returns * Refunds * Subscription expiry * Integration errors Email notifications should be supported. --- # 26. API The platform must have a properly structured REST API or GraphQL API. API should allow future integrations with: * Additional marketplaces * Additional ecommerce platforms * Third-party applications * Mobile applications * External suppliers API authentication should use secure tokens/OAuth where appropriate. --- # 27. Database & Architecture The platform needs a scalable architecture. The developer should recommend the best technology stack, but I am open to: ### Frontend * Next.js * React * TypeScript ### Backend * Node.js / NestJS * Laravel * or another suitable scalable framework ### Database * PostgreSQL or MySQL ### Cache / Q
