Description
We're looking for a developer to design and build (or rebuild) our website with a product catalogue, a trade-facing enquiry/RFQ flow, and back-office integrations that let us manage products and quotes without living in spreadsheets. Core scope: A polished, image-led product catalogue organised by category (lighting, furniture, vanities & mirrors, fixtures, custom) with filtering by finish, material, application, and project type. Product detail pages that handle spec-grade information: dimensions, materials, finishes, lead times, certifications, and downloadable spec sheets / tear sheets. A trade/RFQ workflow rather than a public checkout — enquiry carts, "request a quote," project-based enquiry grouping, and gated access for verified trade accounts. Airtable as the product and enquiry backbone — products, options, and incoming RFQs sync with Airtable so our team manages everything from bases we already understand. Two-way sync where practical. AI integrations — Microsoft Copilot and Claude (Anthropic API) wired in for things like: auto-drafting product descriptions and spec copy, summarising and triaging incoming RFQs, and an assistant that helps trade clients find products by describing a look or project. You'll advise on where AI adds real value versus novelty. Lead capture and CRM/email handoff (e.g. enquiries routed to our inbox and/or CRM), plus basic analytics. Fast, mobile-responsive, SEO-sound, and easy for a non-technical team to update.
