Description
Ops Monitor is a profit and performance platform built for last-mile logistics contractors - small business owners who operate delivery routes under contract with a major national parcel carrier. Our platform turns their settlement, payroll, and operating data into per-driver, per-route, and per-vehicle profitability intelligence, so operators can see which parts of their business are actually making money. We are a small founding team with a live product, and a deep roadmap. The product was built by operators and engineers who know this industry from the inside. We are hiring a technical product builder - some people call this role an “AI orchestrator.” You will take detailed product requirements written by our founders and turn them into working software using AI development tools (Claude Code and similar), working under the direct mentorship of our CTO. This is not a traditional software engineering job, and it is not a traditional product management job. It sits in between: you need enough technical judgment to supervise what AI coding tools produce - to notice when the database schema is wrong, when the architecture is drifting, or when the tool is “solving” the problem in a way that will cause trouble later - but you will not be hand-writing most of the code yourself. Our CTO will train you on the codebase, review your work, and be available when you get stuck. Over time, the goal is for you to own feature delivery end to end.
