Description
I'm the founder of a social group-planning app for deciding where to go out with friends. The frontend is already built and deployed: Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, hosted on Vercel. I'm looking for one experienced developer to take it from working prototype to App Store. Scope (this is the whole engagement): 1. Code and security review of the existing codebase, flag the top risks 2. Replace localStorage with a real backend: database, auth, and API (Supabase or Firebase preferred) covering auth, profiles, friends, group sessions, ratings, and notifications 3. Wrap the app for iOS using Capacitor and get it running in TestFlight 4. Support through App Store submission and review Not in scope: new features, redesigns, or a rebuild from scratch. The product is feature-frozen for launch. Requirements: US-based Strong React/Next.js and TypeScript experience Has personally shipped at least 2 apps currently live in the App Store (send links) Experience with Supabase or Firebase Capacitor experience a plus How I'll hire: shortlisted candidates get repo access after signing an NDA and IP assignment. I'll ask you to spend 30 minutes in the code and tell me the 3 biggest risks you see. Contract is milestone-based: 30% backend live, 40% iOS build in TestFlight, 30% App Store approved. Please include: links to your 2 shipped apps, your estimated timeline for this scope, and a fixed-price bid.
