I'm looking for an experienced WordPress Multisite and WooCommerce developer to assist with planning and executing several major updates on a large production environment. Here are the details: WordPress Multisite installation with approximately 1,000+ sites Hosted on a DigitalOcean droplet WooCommerce is currently 7.1.2 WooCommerce Stripe Gateway is 7.0.1 WooCommerce Subscriptions is 3.1.6 PHP 8.1.5 WordPress 6.8.6 Several of our WooCommerce-related plugins are multiple major versions behind, and rather than simply updating everything, I'm looking for someone who can help create a safe upgrade strategy and execute it properly. Ideally, I'm looking for someone who has significant experience with: Large WordPress Multisite networks WooCommerce upgrades across multiple major versions WooCommerce Stripe Gateway WooCommerce Subscriptions WooPayments DigitalOcean server administration PHP version upgrades Nginx/Apache configuration WP-CLI Backup and rollback strategies Staging environments and testing procedures The project would likely include: Reviewing the current environment Identifying compatibility concerns Creating a staging/testing plan Performing or assisting with upgrades Testing payment gateways and checkout functionality Verifying subscriptions and recurring payments Providing rollback procedures if necessary A few questions before we move forward: Have you managed WooCommerce upgrades on large WordPress Multisite networks before?
