Oracle 11g Express Edition 11.2.0.2.0 on Windows 7, NOARCHIVELOG, no backups predating the failure. Power loss corrupted the current online redo log mid-write. Crash recovery aborts during redo scan with ORA-00333 (block 20417 count 7083). Confirmed so far: All 4 datafiles ONLINE, matching checkpoint_change# 160559489, all FUZZY=YES v$recover_file returns no rows ALTER DATABASE CLEAR UNARCHIVED LOGFILE GROUP 1 → ORA-01624 (log needed for crash recovery) RECOVER DATABASE UNTIL CANCEL → CANCEL → ORA-01547, ORA-01194 file 1 needs more recovery Goal: get the database open by whatever means, then Data Pump export one schema (LOGO). We accept data loss from the last redo log. Full cold backup of oradata, FRA, and dbs is in hand — work will be done on a copy. Access via TeamViewer, you drive.
