Summary Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Appian Developer to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade automation solutions on the Appian Low-Code platform. In this role, you will collaborate with business analysts, database administrators, and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, secure, and highly efficient workflows, interfaces, and process models. Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development: Design, build, and maintain Appian applications including process models, custom interfaces (SAIL), expression rules, user roles, and reporting dashboards. Data Integration: Configure and optimize the Appian Data Fabric (Record Types) and manage data integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and JSON-based connectivity. Database Management: Build data structures, design relational data models, and write optimized SQL queries, views, or stored procedures (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, or SQL Server). Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT). Manage multi-environment deployments using CI/CD pipelines. Production Support: Monitor application health logs, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement bug fixes or system enhancements. Required Skills & QualificationsAppian Expertise: Hands-on experience developing end-to-end applications on the Appian BPM platform (experience with modern versions preferred). Low-Code Concepts: Strong understanding of BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) principles, SLA frameworks, and task prioritization. Database Skills: Solid proficiency in RDBMS concepts and SQL scripting. Integration Skills: Experience connecting Appian to external ERP/CRM solutions or custom third-party applications via APIs. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
