Description
Summary Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced No-Code / Automation Specialist to build an inventory management, multi-channel sync, and forecasting system using Airtable and Make.com (or lightweight API connectors). Our business sells on Shopify, Etsy, and Faire. We sell single products as well as product bundles (which draw stock from multiple component SKUs), and we hold inventory across multiple locations (bulk warehouse, active packing facility, and a Canada warehouse). Key Deliverables: Airtable Relational Database Setup: Component SKUs & Bundles (BOM): Build a relational schema that links bundle SKUs to individual component SKUs so component inventory updates accurately across channels. Multi-Location Inventory Tracking: Track stock levels independently across our main locations (Austin Bulk Storage, Austin Packing Facility, and Canada Warehouse). Multi-Channel Sync & Automation (Make.com / Webhooks): Set up real-time sales triggers from Shopify, Etsy, and Faire. When a bundle or item sells on any channel, automatically deduct the correct component SKUs from central inventory in Airtable. Run-Rate & Reorder Forecasting Formulas: Calculate 30-day and 60-day sales velocity per SKU. Build automated reorder alerts based on lead time thresholds. Create demand-split logic (US/International vs. Canada) to recommend how much inventory to ship to our Canada warehouse vs. keeping in Austin. Weekly Internal Stock Transfer Digest: Set up an automated weekly trigger (email or Slack digest) calculating how much stock to move from Austin bulk storage to our active packing facility to maintain target buffer stock. Requirements & Skills Needed: Proven experience building relational databases in Airtable (advanced formulas, rollups, and linked records). Hands-on experience with Make.com (Integromat) connecting to Shopify, Etsy, and Faire APIs/Webhooks. Understanding of e-commerce inventory management (Bill of Materials/Kitting, sales velocity, and reorder points). To Apply: Please submit a brief message outlining a similar Airtable or Make.com inventory/bundle integration project you have completed. Include answers to these questions: Have you built a Bill of Materials (BOM) or bundle inventory deduction system in Airtable or Make.com before? How do you handle API rate limits and webhook error handling to ensure a stock sync failure doesn't break the scenario?
