Summary Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to finalize a proprietary predictive planning tool. The objective is to combine weather intelligence, historical company performance, and marketing analytics to anticipate garage door repair demand. Ultimately, this system will advise us on where to increase Google Ads budgets and technician staffing based on incoming weather events. What is Already Built: You will not be starting from scratch. We have a functional foundation in place: UI: A Looker Studio dashboard with pages for Current Weather, 5-Day Forecast, and a V1 Stress Index. Backend: A Google Apps Script automated engine currently running in Google Sheets. APIs: Active, automated connections to OpenWeatherMap (live conditions) and the National Weather Service (7-day forecasts). Logic: A V1 "Garage Door Stress Index" calculated via Google Sheets formulas that archives nightly. What You Will Build (The Scope): We need you to take this foundation, migrate it to a scalable architecture, and build the remaining complex integrations. This project will be paid across four distinct milestones: Milestone 1: Database Migration & NOAA Historicals Migrate the existing Google Sheets backend to a robust cloud database (e.g., PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or Cloud SQL) and integrate the NOAA API to fetch and store historical seasonal averages. Milestone 2: Advanced Predictive Demand Score Translate our existing Google Sheets formulas into backend code (Python/Node.js) and program additional weather triggers (first freeze, consecutive heat, severe alerts) to output a unified 0–100 Demand Score. Milestone 3: ServiceTitan CRM Integration Establish a secure API connection with ServiceTitan to ingest historical data (call volume, booked jobs, repair types) and write correlation logic to validate patterns against the weather data. Milestone 4: Google Ads & Marketing Automation Integrate with the Google Ads API to generate automated budget recommendations and actionable staffing alerts based on the Demand Score. Required Skills: Proven experience with complex API integrations (ServiceTitan and Google Ads API experience is highly preferred). Database architecture and migration (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, Firebase, etc.). Backend development (Python, Node.js, or similar) for data pipelines and algorithm logic. Familiarity with Looker Studio or custom frontend frameworks (React/Vue) if you recommend moving off Looker Studio for the final automation phase.
