Description

We’re looking for a senior WordPress + WooCommerce full stack developer to lead the development, updating, and ongoing support of our new e-commerce website. This role will include building out the new site, improving and maintaining key WooCommerce functionality, troubleshooting shipping-related issues, performing QA testing across the site, fixing bugs, and providing post-launch support for any issues that arise after final development is complete. This is an active e-commerce business, so we need someone who works carefully and professionally, with a strong staging-first workflow, backups, testing procedures, clear documentation, and minimal downtime. Strong communication is important, and we expect short, clear progress updates throughout the project. Core responsibilities - New Website Development + Updates • Build and develop the new WordPress + WooCommerce website based on project requirements • Update existing functionality, layouts, and site components as needed throughout the development process • Ensure the site is built cleanly, efficiently, and with long-term maintainability in mind • Support ongoing improvements and refinements during the build process - Shipping Troubleshooting • Investigate and resolve shipping-related issues across the website • Diagnose inconsistencies with shipping rates, shipping methods, address handling, plugin conflicts, or shipping logic • Review logs, plugin settings, and WooCommerce shipping configurations to identify root causes • I
