Description

We are an education directory covering AI and machine learning degree programs. I have finished HTML/CSS designs for five page types and need them converted into a working WordPress theme. Templates needed: 1. Homepage 2. About page 3. Generic content page 4. Single blog post 5. Degree program page **Important: this is a styling job, not a rebuild** My existing degree pages and blog posts are already built with Gutenberg blocks. My workflow is to duplicate an existing page and replace the content. That workflow has to keep working exactly as it does now. So the theme needs to style my existing block markup on the front end. It should not require rebuilding pages as hardcoded HTML in template files, and it should not introduce a page builder. If changing a paragraph would mean editing PHP, that's the wrong approach for this project. **Deliverables** - WordPress theme, installable on my existing site - `theme.json` with the palette, type scale, and spacing from my designs - Front-end CSS styling my existing Gutenberg block markup - Responsive across mobile, tablet, desktop - No regression in Core Web Vitals versus the current site - Plain CSS. If my designs come with Tailwind loaded from a CDN, convert it out. **Acceptance test** I duplicate an existing degree page, replace the content, and publish. It renders correctly with no code changes. That's the bar. **What I'll provide** - Full HTML/CSS for all five designs - Staging site access - Two live degree pages with real content
