Summary Calorie Tracking Website — Development from Provided Design References I'm looking for a developer (or small team) to build a clean, responsive calorie and macro tracking website. This is a development-focused project — I will provide reference websites for the design direction, so you don't need to create a design system from scratch. You should be comfortable translating an existing visual style into a polished, pixel-clean implementation. What I need built: Landing / marketing page User sign-up and login Daily food logging (search a food item, set serving size, add to breakfast / lunch / dinner / snacks) Food database with calories and macros (protein, carbs, fat) — either an integrated third-party API or a seeded database, whichever you recommend Daily dashboard: calories consumed vs. daily goal, macro breakdown, remaining budget for the day Ability to create custom foods and saved meals Weekly / monthly progress view with simple charts User profile with goal setting (target weight, daily calorie target, activity level) Fully responsive — must work well on mobile browsers Design: I will share 2–3 reference websites in the chat. I want the same overall feel — layout, spacing, color approach, and component style — adapted to my feature set. I'm not looking for a redesign or a heavy branding exercise. Clean, modern, readable. Tech: I'm open on stack but prefer React / Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind. Tell me what you'd use and why. Please also recommend an approach for the food database and explain the trade-offs.
