Summary We run an accounting firm in the Netherlands using Jortt as our bookkeeping software. Our clients are a mix of: Sellers on bol.com (monthly collective invoice + sales export that needs revenue split between NL and Belgium) Webshop owners, mainly on Shopify "Regular" freelancers (zzp) with standard bank transactions and incoming/outgoing invoices We want to automate our monthly bookkeeping process end-to-end, across all of these client types, so that: All transactions (bol.com, Shopify, regular bank mutations) are automatically processed into draft/concept journal entries in Jortt — never posted as final/definitive automatically. Uploaded invoices and receipts (via email, app, or a shared folder) are automatically matched to the correct entry, instead of our team linking them manually. Missing or inconsistent data is automatically flagged, and a client-facing checklist/form is generated listing what's still missing. Our accountant only needs to review and approve the draft entries once a month, per client. A full written functional specification (covering all modules, booking logic, and open technical questions) is available on request / after signing an NDA, given it describes our clients' financial workflows. How we want to engage We want this built for the full scope described above, but we are not committing to the whole project upfront. We want to start with a small, paid pilot: one module (bol.com) for one test client, to validate that the approach works — including whether Jortt's API supports draft/concept-status bookings and document attachment — before scoping and pricing the rest of the project. If the pilot succeeds, we will continue with the same freelancer/team for the remaining modules (regular bank/invoice bookkeeping, Shopify, and the automatic invoice-matching layer). Open to different approaches We are not tied to a specific tool or AI provider. Proposals are welcome using n8n, Make.com, custom code, or another stack, and using any AI/LLM provider (OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Google, or other). Please tell us which approach and which AI you'd recommend, and why, as part of your proposal.
