Description

Job Type: Part-time, 1-month contract (short-term, may extend based on fit) About the project We run a small HealthTech SaaS platform that helps clinics manage patient intake and follow up communication. One of our core features is an LLM powered assistant that summarizes patient-reported symptoms and drafts a pre visit note for clinicians. It's live and working but we need a hands-on full-stack AI developer for the next month to maintain it, fix a few known issues and ship a couple of small improvements, not a rebuild, not a new product. What you will actually be doing Maintain and debug the existing LLM summarization pipeline (prompt logic, API calls, error handling) Improve the accuracy/consistency of generated pre-visit notes (prompt tuning, output validation) Add one small new capability: flagging urgent/red-flag symptoms for clinician review before a note is finalized Light full-stack work to wire the feature into our existing backend/frontend (no new services, no infra overhaul) Use AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar) to move quickly and keep changes tightly scoped Tech stack Python/FastAPI backend, React frontend, PostgreSQL, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs. Comfort reading and modifying an existing codebase matters more than framework preference. Who we're looking for Proven experience shipping LLM powered features in a real product (not just personal/demo projects) Comfortable working async and independently against a small existing codebase Fluent with
