Summary We're building Ascend, an AI-powered platform that uses multiple AI agents to analyze data, automate intelligent workflows, and deliver actionable insights. We're looking for a senior AI engineer to help architect and build the AI backbone of the platform. What You'll Work On Design and build Agentic AI workflows with multiple collaborating AI agents. Develop production-ready RAG pipelines using modern retrieval techniques. Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar) into scalable backend systems. Design structured prompting, tool calling, memory, and reasoning workflows. Optimize AI agents for reliability, latency, and cost. Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to shape the AI architecture. Build APIs and services that power AI-driven features. Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience. Proven experience building production AI applications. Strong expertise in Agentic AI, RAG, and multi-agent systems. Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks. Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other LLM APIs. Strong Python and backend development skills. Experience with vector databases and AI workflow orchestration. Nice to Have MCP (Model Context Protocol) experience. AI workflow orchestration.
