Description

We are looking for a reliable, experienced WordPress developer for ongoing work across multiple client sites. This is not a one-time task. We need someone we can consistently rely on to: • Spin up WordPress sites efficiently • Maintain and update existing sites • Match provided designs closely • Troubleshoot PHP and plugin conflicts Current Immediate Need One of our clients requires: • PHP version updates • Resolving conflicts between PHP and existing WordPress plugins • Ensuring site stability after updates • Minor UI changes to align with provided designs If this goes well, there will be steady follow-on work. ⸻ Responsibilities • Update PHP versions safely and resolve compatibility issues • Diagnose and fix WordPress plugin conflicts • Implement UI changes to match Figma / design files • Build and maintain WordPress sites incrementally • Follow best practices for backups, staging, and deployment • Communicate clearly about risks, timelines, and solutions ⸻ Required Skills • Strong WordPress development experience • Solid PHP knowledge (version compatibility & debugging) • Experience with popular WordPress plugins and themes • Comfortable working with staging environments • Ability to match designs pixel-accurately • Clean, maintainable code practices ⸻ Nice to Have • Experience with performance optimization • Familiarity with custom themes and child themes • Experience working with designers and Figma files • Long-term availability ⸻ Engagement Type • Ongoing / Long-term •
