Summary SHYNE is an award-winning men’s grooming brand specialising in products for curly and afro-textured hair. We sell through Shopify, Amazon (UK, US & EU), TikTok Shop and retail partners, and we’re now looking to become an AI supported business. We’re searching for an experienced AI Automation Architect to become our long-term AI partner. This is not a chatbot project. Our vision is to build an AI operating system that supports every area of the business from customer support to finance, inventory, forecasting and operations. The first phase is customer support, but we’re looking for someone who can grow with us over the coming years. ⸻ The Opportunity We’re looking for someone who can design and build an AI ecosystem using the best technologies available, rather than being tied to a single platform. Claude will play a significant role in our AI stack, alongside OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot and workflow automation tools. We’re looking for someone who thinks like an AI architect, not simply an AI developer. ⸻ Phase 1 – AI Customer Support The initial project is to design and deploy an AI customer support agent capable of handling the majority of our customer enquiries. The system should: * Respond to customer enquiries 24/7 * Answer questions about our products and ingredients * Recommend products based on customer needs * Track Shopify orders * Handle delivery enquiries * Manage returns and exchanges * Escalate conversations to a human when required * Learn from our existing support documentation and FAQs * Maintain our brand tone of voice * Continuously improve over time The goal is to automate as much of our customer support as possible while maintaining an excellent customer experience. ⸻ Future Roadmap Following a successful customer support implementation, we’d like to continue working together to build AI across the rest of the business. Inventory Intelligence * Monitor stock across multiple sales channels * Predict stock-outs * Forecast demand * Recommend reorder quantities * Generate purchase orders * Monitor supplier lead times * Recommend stock transfers between warehouses Finance * Daily profitability reporting * Gross margin reporting * Cash flow forecasting * Expense categorisation * Budget tracking * Financial forecasting * SKU-level profitability * Business health reporting Marketing Intelligence * Daily business summaries * Meta Ads reporting * Google Ads reporting * Amazon performance reporting * Marketing recommendations * Campaign performance analysis * Weekly executive summaries Operations * Wholesale enquiry automation * Internal knowledge assistant * SOP assistant * Creator management * Executive reporting * Business insights * Workflow automation across departments Our long-term vision is for AI to become an integral part of how SHYNE operates day to day. ⸻ Preferred Technology Stack We’re open to recommendations, but ideally you have experience with: * Claude (Anthropic) * OpenAI * Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio * n8n * Power Automate * Shopify APIs * MCP (Model Context Protocol) * RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) * Vector databases * AI agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI or similar) * REST APIs Experience with Shopify businesses is highly desirable.
