Project Overview We operate a high-volume sports card business, purchasing inventory primarily through eBay and selling live on Whatnot. We’re looking for an experienced developer to build a custom web-based inventory management system that streamlines our workflow from purchase to sale. Core Features 1. eBay Purchase Import * Automatically import purchases from eBay (preferred via API, CSV import is acceptable). * Store: * Card details * Purchase price (cost basis) * Purchase date * Seller information * eBay Item ID 2. Inventory Management * Assign each card a unique QR code or barcode. * Scan cards using a phone or barcode scanner. * Assign inventory to: * Storage boxes/bins * Live Whatnot shows * Track inventory status (Available, Assigned, Sold, etc.). 3. Sales Tracking * Import Whatnot sales automatically if possible, or provide a simple manual entry option. * When a card is scanned and sold, the system should: * Record the sale price * Match it with the original purchase * Mark the item as sold * Remove it from active inventory 4. Profit & Analytics Automatically calculate: * Profit/Loss per card * Profit per Whatnot stream * Total revenue * Total cost of goods sold * Overall ROI * Current inventory value * Unsold inventory * Sales history and reporting 5.
