Description

We have an established metal web radio and multilingual webzine on WordPress. The site is hosted on Nexcess and uses paid GTranslate SEO/TDN. We need a specialist to clean up harmful bot traffic and confirm the site is fully functional across all languages. The job: Analyze server logs and identify harmful bots and crawlers. Block them via Cloudflare without touching Googlebot, Bingbot, Meta, Google Ads, or real users. Check whether bot traffic is causing CPU, memory, PHP, or database overload. Test the full site: homepage, articles, radio player, admin panel, images, menus, links, scripts, contact forms, all translated versions, desktop and mobile. Check for 4xx, 5xx, and timeout errors. Review plugins, cron jobs, and security settings. Deliver a written report: what was found, what was fixed, what else needs attention. Rules: Nothing gets changed without approval. No new plugins without sign-off. Every change documented. Who we need: Someone with real production experience in WordPress, Cloudflare, server log analysis, Nexcess or managed WordPress hosting, and multilingual WordPress. GTranslate SEO/TDN experience is a strong advantage. This is not an audit-only role. We need investigation, fixes, testing, and a final report.
