Summary About Us We're a growing U.S. e-commerce company doing over $5M in annual revenue, selling primarily through Shopify and Amazon. Our leadership team consists of four people covering operations, finance, marketing, and executive leadership. We've already embraced AI. We use Claude extensively, we're building internal workflows, taking courses, experimenting with projects, and sharing learnings across the team. The problem isn't adoption. The problem is efficiency. AI changes so quickly that we're spending too much time figuring out what matters, evaluating new tools, and deciding where to invest our effort. We're looking for someone who can become our long-term AI advisor and help us stay focused on the highest-value opportunities. This is not a one-time consulting engagement. We're looking to build an ongoing relationship. What We're Looking For We want one experienced person, not a consulting agency. Someone who has personally helped e-commerce companies successfully implement AI into day-to-day operations. Ideally you've worked with companies between $1M and $30M in revenue and understand how lean leadership teams operate. You should be comfortable working directly with founders and department leaders. Your Role You'll act as an extension of our leadership team. Examples include: Help us build an AI roadmap for the company. Keep us current on meaningful AI developments without chasing every new tool. Recommend practical workflows that save time or improve decision making. Coach our leadership team so they become more capable using AI themselves. Review projects we're building and recommend better approaches. Help identify automation opportunities across operations, finance, marketing, customer service, and executive workflows. Recommend the right models, tools, and software for specific use cases. Push back when we're overcomplicating something. Our philosophy is simple: We don't want you to do the work for us. We want you to teach us how to do it better. We want an AI coach, advisor, and strategic partner. Our Tech Stack Experience with most of these is important: Claude ChatGPT Shopify Amazon Seller Central Google Ads Meta Ads Klaviyo Google Workspace Monday Modern AI automation tools (MCPs, APIs, agents, etc.) Hands-on experience inside e-commerce businesses is far more important than knowing every AI product on the market. Engagement Initially we'd like approximately 4 hours per week for the first few months while we establish priorities and build momentum. Long term, we'd like an ongoing relationship with a regular cadence (likely weekly or biweekly) as AI continues to evolve and our business grows.
