We are seeking a proactive, coachable Junior WordPress Developer to join our team on an ongoing, stable contract basis. This is a long-term role, not a short-term project. Important Work Hours Requirement: - You must be available to work 30–40 hours a week during US Central Time zone hours Key Responsibilities - Assist in building and maintaining WordPress websites - Support senior developers in theme and plugin development, including work built from scratch rather than relying solely on page builders - Clean up, organize, and write standards-compliant code that follows WordPress coding standards - Help translate project requirements into functional solutions - Troubleshoot bugs and assist in resolving technical sites - Optimize WordPress pages for performance, responsiveness, and speed Required Skills & Experience - WPadmin.AI Experience: Experience using the WPadmin AI plugin in your personal projects (details/documentation link will be shared with shortlisted applicants). - 1–2 years of hands-on WordPress development (freelance or internship experience is perfectly fine). - Working knowledge of the WordPress Codex / Developer Resources — you should be comfortable navigating official documentation to find the right function, hook, or template tag rather than guessing. - Ability to build a basic WordPress theme from scratch — understanding of the template hierarchy, core template files (index.php, functions.php, header.php, footer.php, single.php, page.php), and how The Loop
