Summary Project Brief I require a freelancer to develop an internet browser extension that replaces selected words on webpages based on a predefined list. The extension should work seamlessly while users browse the web, with minimal impact on page performance or layout. Core Features - Chrome browser extension is ideal, others are a bonus. - Detect and replace selected words within webpage text. - Highlight replaced words. - Reveal the original word when clicked or hovered. - Multiple intensity levels controlling: - Number of words replaced. - Complexity of replacement words. - User accounts with saved preferences. - Basic settings page allowing users to: - Select their learning profile. - Adjust difficulty. - Manage account. - Subscription system supporting multiple countries/currencies. - Admin functionality via Excel import to update the word database. - Be able to track number of installs and subscriptions Technical Requirements - Fast and lightweight. - Compatible with modern websites. - Preserve webpage formatting and functionality. - Avoid replacing words in: - Forms - Password fields - Usernames - Links - Code blocks - Process dynamically loaded content where possible.
