Custom Reporting from Rally & QuickBooks Time (TSheets) APIs

Summary Project Description We are looking for a developer to create a simple reporting dashboard by combining data from two systems: • QuickBooks Time (TSheets) – Actual employee time • Rally (formerly Agile Central by Broadcom) – Project estimates and ship dates The common field between both systems is Project ID. The goal is to automatically pull data from both APIs and generate a few operational reports for our cabinet manufacturing business. This is not a large ERP or BI project. We simply need someone to connect the APIs, combine the data, and create a handful of reports. Reports Needed Examples include: • Estimated Hours vs Actual Hours by Project • Weekly and Daily labor reports • Productive vs Non-Productive hours • Non-billable hours • Total PTO • Total Lunch Breaks • Total Rest Breaks • Total Admin hours • Number of employees clocked in • Hours by employee • Hours by project • Open projects with labor spent Additional reports may be added later using the same data. Requirements • Experience working with REST APIs • Experience with QuickBooks Time (TSheets) API • Experience with Rally (Broadcom Agile Central) API is a plus • Ability to combine data using Project ID • Build reports that can refresh automatically • Clean, well-organized code Deliverables • Connect both APIs • Import/sync data automatically • Build requested reports • Documentation showing how everything works Preferred Technology Open to suggestions. Possible options include: • Power BI • Looker Studio • Google Sheets • Excel Power Query • SQL + Dashboard • Python • Any other simple solution The easiest solution that is reliable is preferred.
