# Upwork Job: Migrate WordPress from App Service to Standard LAMP Stack on Debian VM ## Project Overview I need an experienced Linux/WordPress administrator to remove an existing WordPress deployment that is running via an application service and replace it with a standard manual WordPress installation on an existing Debian virtual machine. The Debian server, web server, database server, and all other existing services must remain intact. The objective is **only** to remove the application service deployment and host WordPress directly on the existing server using a traditional LAMP/LEMP setup. This is intended to be a small, straightforward migration for someone experienced with Linux and WordPress. ## Scope of Work The successful freelancer will: * Assess the current WordPress deployment. * Remove the existing application service deployment. * Perform a clean manual installation of WordPress on the existing Debian server. * Configure WordPress to run directly from the web server (Apache or Nginx, depending on the existing setup). * Restore the existing website content, including: * Database * Media uploads * Themes * Plugins * Configuration * Ensure the website functions exactly as before after migration. * Verify that permalinks, media, plugins, and theme are working correctly. * Ensure appropriate file permissions and ownership are configured. * Leave the existing server and other hosted websites/services unaffected. ## Requirements * Strong experience with: * Debian Linu
